Reading Routine

Actions
  • Step 1: Commit to a time in which you are going to read every day
  • Step 2: Pick a book you want to read
  • Step 3: Start by reading for 10 minutes every day
Reminders
  • By design, if you read something every day, you got better. Therefore by creating a reading routine, it is a simple way to guarantee that today was better than yesterday.
  • If something is important enough you'll find time to make it happen. When is there always time? First thing in the morning.
  • Read books that interest you.
  • Don't feel like you have to finish books. If you don't like what you are reading move on. Your time is more important/valuable.
  • Take notes while you read. This will allow you to retain and implement the material better.
  • Get a library card from your local library. They have digital books you can download so you don't even have to leave your house.
  • Start building your reading routine by starting with just 10 minutes a day.
  • Commit to reading.
