Microphone + Online Recording
When I first started podcasting over 6 years ago I had no prior experience. I had no technical background, no editing background, and didn’t know squat about microphones, cords, and everything in between.
I mention this because I had to learn the hard way, spending hours on Google looking up which microphone is better than another. This is time I’ll never get back.
Let me save you the heartache by saying, don’t spend a ton of time trying to figure out which microphone to get. Just set a budget that you want to spend, get a decent to good microphone (that way your quality is good), and move on.
Also in this video I talk about recording online via Zoom or Skype. This is something that I 100% recommend as it allows your podcast to be locationless, which opens up the world to be a podcast guest for you. Zoom is my preference. Make sure to view/download the resource documents for specific instructions to help you with this lesson.

- If you are interested in Live Streaming your podcast my recommendation is to use either Streamyard or Ecamm Live. The video below will give you the quick scoop on them.
