Move 1 — Macro First
Decide What It Is Before You Build What It Does
Before entry one exists, answer four questions in writing. What does this library prove about you? Who is it for? What does it feed? How do people flow through it? The answers design your front door (where cold traffic enters and you capture the lead), your hub (where people browse), your entries (where value gets delivered), and your revenue destination (where every entry points).
The Front Door
One promoted URL. Cold traffic lands here, gives an email, enters the world. Everything else in the library links inward, never back out to the gate. People already inside should never hit a form again.
The Hub
The browsable index. Categories, search, every entry one click away. The hub is where a visitor becomes a repeat visitor.
The Entries
Same structure every time, fresh substance every time. Uniformity is a feature: visitors learn the shape once and every future entry feels instantly familiar.
The Revenue Destination
Every entry carries exactly one call to action pointing at your offer, written for the person actually standing on that page. The library is generous, and the library has a job.

Decide your naming conventions and URL structure here, on day one. Renaming twelve live entries later is a tax. Naming entry one correctly is free.
Move 2 — Micro Mastery
One Entry, By Hand, Full Attention
Build a single entry manually, all the way to live. Then critique it like a world-class editor: the spacing, the headline, the flow, the purpose of every section. Here is the move inside the move: every time something feels off, convert the feeling into a named standard. "The FAQ feels generic" becomes a written rule about what FAQs are for. "The CTA feels bulky" becomes a defined component with exact copy. Four review passes on one live page can produce every rule the next thirty-five inherit.
What You Are Really Building
The entry is the visible output. The standards list is the real asset. You are writing the constitution for every entry that follows.

You cannot automate what you have not done deliberately once. The pilot run becomes the spec.

Move 3 — The Reusable Container
Separate What Repeats From What Gets Created
Extract the One into a template by splitting every entry into two kinds of content. Fixed: the structure, design, navigation, and CTA that stay identical on every entry. Find the click that actually means adoption (for a skills library, the copy button) and fire an event on it. Route the numbers into a report you already read weekly. The market votes with clicks, and the votes tell you what to build next.

Remove every counter you would have to remember to update. A stale "12 entries" line reads as neglect. Pull live numbers from a source of truth or show no number at all.

Decide what never publishes: client-specific work, licensed material, your internal systems. Write the list into the machine as a hard stop, so nothing leaks on an autonomous run.
