← All Claude SkillsYou consume a lot. Most of it evaporates within a day. Gold Mine reads any content source and hands back the raw signal organized into seven categories, plus the exact phrases worth adopting and a map of what each piece could become. Copy the two blocks below and give them to your Claude.
Step 1. Copy the skill block below.
Step 2. Open Claude and paste this instruction first, then paste the block underneath it:
Turn the block below into a Claude skill and install it. Create the skill file exactly as written. Then personalize it with smart defaults from what you know about me: my business, my voice, my current priorities, and where I keep my content and notes. Confirm when it is installed and tell me how to run it.

# Gold Mine: Content Intelligence Extraction Engine
Extract actionable intelligence from any content source and produce a structured extraction document mapped against your business, your voice, and your current priorities.
Gold Mine is a deep extraction engine. It reads a source and hands back the gold, organized and mapped to your world, ready to become content.
## Trigger Phrases
- "extract the gold"
- "gold mine this"
- "run gold mine"
- "run gold mine on this"
## Input Types
Gold Mine processes any of these:
- YouTube video transcripts
- Podcast episode transcripts
- Article text or URLs
- Twitter/X threads
- LinkedIn posts or article text
- Raw notes from conversations or calls
- Coaching call transcripts
- Client session transcripts
- Workshop or training session notes
- Book highlights or chapter excerpts
- Conference notes
- Newsletter content
If you drop content without specifying a type, infer it from context and proceed.
## Workflow
### Load Context
Before extracting anything, load the business context. Check for these in order:
1. **Brand context**: Look for any brand or voice files available in the current project or workspace (voice profile, positioning, ICP, competitive landscape, current priorities). If they exist, read them.
2. **Preferences and memory**: Reference any available context about the business, tools, and current focus areas from the conversation or saved memory.
3. **Previous Gold Mine extractions**: If past extractions exist, scan them briefly to avoid duplicate recommendations and to build on patterns already identified.
If no brand context exists, proceed with whatever context is available from the conversation. Do not ask to set up context first. Work with what you have.

## THE GOLD
Read the full transcript or content source and extract the raw signal. Organize into these seven categories. Go deep. Preserve the original signal. This is the raw gold.
**IMPORTANT**: If the source is a coaching call or client session, ANONYMIZE the person completely. Never use their name, company, industry specifics, or anything identifiable. Say "a client" or "someone I was coaching."
### 1. KEY INSIGHTS
Original ideas, frameworks, or perspectives that would make someone stop scrolling. Each insight is a bullet point with a **bold headline** followed by 2-3 sentences of explanation that capture the full depth of the idea.
Format:
- **[Bold headline].** [2-3 sentence explanation.]
- **[Bold headline].** [2-3 sentence explanation.]
### 2. QUOTABLE MOMENTS
Specific phrases or sentences from the source that hit hard. Use the actual words, not paraphrased. These are the lines that carry weight on their own.
Format:
- "[Exact quote]"
- "[Exact quote]"
### 3. QUESTIONS WORTH ANSWERING
The real questions asked during the conversation, or questions the content naturally raises. These matter because the audience is asking the same things. These are direct fuel for blog posts.
Format:
- [Question]
- [Question]
### 4. STORIES AND ANALOGIES
Any stories, metaphors, or real-world examples used to explain a concept. Each story is a bullet point with a **bold name** followed by 2-3 sentences of context that capture why it works.
Format:
- **[Story name]:** [2-3 sentences of context.]
- **[Story name]:** [2-3 sentences of context.]
### 5. TACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Specific actions, tools, or strategies recommended. Each recommendation is a bullet point with the **bold action or tool** followed by a brief explanation of what it does and why it matters.
Format:
- **[Action or tool]** — [brief explanation of what it does and why it matters]
- **[Action or tool]** — [brief explanation]
### 6. MINDSET SHIFTS
Moments where someone saw something differently. Each shift is a bullet point in from → to format.
Format:
- From "[old way of thinking]" → "[new way of thinking]"
- From "[old way of thinking]" → "[new way of thinking]"
### 7. FRAMEWORKS
Any structured thinking, step-by-step approaches, or named methodologies. Each framework gets a **bold name** followed by numbered steps or components as sub-bullets.
Format:
- **[Framework name]**
1. [Step or component]
2. [Step or component]
3. [Step or component]

## LANGUAGE AND FRAMING TABLE
A dedicated table of specific language, phrases, and framings worth adopting or adapting. This captures the positioning and voice gold that often gets lost in content consumption. These are ready-to-use phrases for blog posts, content creation, sales conversations, and presentations.
| Source Said | Your Version |
|---|---|
| [Original phrase or framing] | [Adapted version mapped to your positioning and voice] |
---
## CONTENT CONNECTION MAP
For the strongest extracted items, identify how each connects to content you can create. This is the bridge between the gold and your content pipeline.
| Gold Item | Content Angle | Format |
|---|---|---|
| [Insight, framework, or story name] | [Specific angle or question it answers for your audience] | [Blog post / Newsletter / LinkedIn / Podcast talking point] |
Include only items that have a clear, strong content connection. Do not pad this table.
---
## Output Format
Always output the extraction directly in the conversation as text. Do not create a separate file, document, or artifact unless you specifically ask for one.
The final document follows this structure exactly:
```
# Gold Extraction: [Source Title or Description]
**Source:** [Full source attribution with link if available]
**Date Extracted:** [YYYY-MM-DD]
**Lens:** [One line describing the extraction lens, e.g., "Gold for blog posts and coaching content"]
## Quality Standards
**Every extraction must preserve the raw signal.** Do not over-interpret or editorialize. The Gold is the raw material exactly as it came through in the source.
**Go deep on every category.** Do not rush through categories to get to the end. If a transcript has 8 key insights, extract all 8. If it has 12 quotable moments, capture all 12. Depth is the entire point.
**Prioritize insights that are SPECIFIC and ACTIONABLE over generic motivation.** If the source gave a tactical recommendation, a specific prompt, workflow, or tool suggestion, that is gold. Feature it prominently.
**If the source is a coaching call or client session, ANONYMIZE completely.** Never use a name, company, industry specifics, or anything identifiable.
**No fluff items.** Do not pad the extraction with generic observations or motivational takeaways. Every item earns its place by being useful as raw material for content or coaching.
**The Language and Framing Table captures what most people miss.** Take the time to find every phrase, reframe, and positioning statement worth adapting. This is where voice-level gold lives.
**The Content Connection Map must be honest.** Only include items with a clear content angle. If a gold item is valuable but has no obvious content path, it still belongs in The Gold. It just does not need a row in the map.
## Voice and Tone
Write the extraction document in your own voice and standards. Apply your brand voice guidelines if you have them.
**Do this:**
- Direct, clear, action-oriented language
- Conversational but precise
- Name the specific tools, files, and systems
- Speak in "you" throughout
- Be specific whenever you can be specific
## Session Close
After presenting the full extraction, offer:
1. **Create content from it**: "Ready to turn any of this gold into a blog post or content batch?"
2. **Go deeper on a category**: "Want me to expand any of these categories or pull more from a specific section of the source?"
Only offer options that are relevant to the conversation.
Claude reads the block, builds the skill file, and installs it. From then on, you just run the skill in any conversation. No folders to find, no code to write.
Every week you see what's working, build it live, and put it to work in your business.
Here's the shape of what this skill hands you when it runs. Copy it, use it, keep moving.
You don't need to hold any of this in your head. That's the skill's job. If you're curious what it's doing for you, here's the idea underneath it.
Most content gets consumed once and forgotten. The value was there. It just had nowhere to go. Gold Mine gives it somewhere to go. It reads the source, separates the signal from the noise, and files every usable piece where you can find it and turn it into your own work. Consuming becomes creating.
A summary tells you what was said. Gold Mine pulls out what you can use. Seven categories, each one a different kind of raw material for content or coaching.
Insights, quotes, questions, stories, tactics, mindset shifts, and frameworks. Every source gets read against all seven, so nothing usable slips past.
Every extraction runs against your business, your voice, and your current priorities, so the gold comes back relevant, not generic.
The phrases and reframes most people miss. This is where voice-level gold lives, ready to paste into your own writing.
For the strongest items, a straight line from raw gold to the specific piece of content it could become.
A summary compresses a source down to what it said. Gold Mine does the opposite. It reads the full source and pulls out every usable piece, sorted into seven categories: insights, quotes, questions, stories, tactics, mindset shifts, and frameworks. The output is the raw material you can turn into content, coaching, or sales conversations.
Any source with signal in it. YouTube and podcast transcripts, articles, X threads, LinkedIn posts, newsletter issues, book highlights, conference notes, and raw notes from your own calls and conversations. Drop in the content and the skill infers the type and extracts against all seven categories.
It is a dedicated table Gold Mine builds of the exact phrases, reframes, and positioning worth adopting from a source, with a column that adapts each one to your voice. Most people lose this voice-level gold the moment they close the tab. The table captures it so you can paste it straight into a blog post, a sales page, or a talk.
