- Winning in the AI era comes down to three pillars: Being (who you are), Creating (what you do), and Building (what you multiply).
- Each pillar has specific practices and standards that separate undeniable leaders from everyone else.
- Track your AI minutes this week. Write it down. It's the most honest feedback you will ever get.
- Your weaknesses are your biggest opportunities. Bring your friction traps to AI and build a better solution.
- The bigger your dreams, the deeper your foundation. This framework is that foundation.
There are three pillars that separate undeniable leaders from everyone else in the AI era. Being, Creating, and Building. Who you are, what you do, and what you multiply.
This is the complete framework I use and teach for how to win in the AI era with heart and excellence. Every concept, every practice, every standard that drives real performance when you're building a business and a life alongside AI.
I've been living this every day for three years in the AI era and fifteen years as an entrepreneur. My clients are embodying this every single day. And I want to walk you through the whole thing so you can see exactly where you stand and where your next level is.
What Is the Being Pillar and Why Does It Come First?
Being is the foundation of everything. It's your identity, your standards, and your heart as a leader, and it comes first because AI can multiply who you are but it cannot create who you are.
You bring the heart, the vision, the lived experience. AI amplifies it. You're the leader, AI is your assistant. That order matters.
This pillar has five key areas, and each one matters.
Heart and Soul
This is the human-first approach to leading in the AI era. I want you to embody who you are, because AI can help multiply more of that.
So much of the world is going to outsource their authenticity and connection to AI. Because of that, it's even more important for those of us who are undeniable leaders to do the work. The inner work. Making ourselves better every single day. That heart, that soul, that thing you can feel inside of you. That is number one, and that's why it comes first.
Vision
I want you to have a big vision. There's a quote I love that I learned from Ed Mylett: make your dreams so big that the dreams of others fit inside of yours.
In the AI era, thinking big is a skill. There is no ceiling and no capacity to what you can create with AI. Once you understand that, it becomes your invitation to keep going bigger. And that's also why there are multiple pillars to this, because when you've got big dreams and visions and you can make them happen, you need to make sure your container can hold and create that.
Confidence
Confidence is earned. You put in the work every single day, especially when things are hard.
So many people say there's no such thing as an AI expert. There is an expert in you. You are the best version of yourself, and the more you do the work, the more you grow, the more expert you become. Experts are created by doing the work. Everything you need is already inside of you. We're just going to use AI to multiply it.
Standards
I want you to elevate yours. Right now we have the biggest opportunity of our lifetime with what we've been given to create in the world of AI.
Andy Frisella said it perfectly: don't negotiate excellence. That's your standard. An undeniable leader is someone who is the example. They set the standard for themselves and for others. I want your standard to be one of one. Nobody else in the world has a higher standard for you than you. When everyone else is talking about tech and tools and coding and automation, what they're failing to realize is the standard of excellence underneath all of it.
Willingness to Learn
This is growth mindset 101, and it's a non-negotiable for winning in the AI era. Right now, not knowing is not an excuse for why you're not in the game.
Because here's what I want you to see: not knowing is the path for your next level. Some of the best things in the world come from not knowing. So audit your inputs. Who are you learning from? What is your system for learning around AI? If you wanted to learn guitar, you'd have a consistent practice every day. If you wanted to learn Brazilian jiu-jitsu, you'd start at the lowest level and commit to the time. AI is the same thing. Throw the excuses in the trash, because when you understand that everything is in your control, especially how you learn, this becomes unlimited growth for you.
Being someone different is what's required right now. I build confidence by doing things that few other people do. Running marathons, doing 75 Hard, reading for 30 minutes every morning for fifteen years. Everybody wants easy. Undeniable leaders take the road less traveled because that's where the transformation happens. Investing in yourself is the number one thing you can do to grow right now as an undeniable leader.
How Do Undeniable Leaders Turn Learning Into Action?
Creating is where learning becomes doing. This pillar is about action, momentum, and turning everything you learn into something real, because we are here to turn a dollar into a dollar fifty.
Undeniable leaders move. We take initiative. We don't wait until we're ready. We create.
Applied Learning and Signal Recognition
I have a process for finding things I don't know, bookmarking them, and then creating with them in AI. I call this signal recognition. Your ability to see gold out in the world and say, I don't know this, but I know somebody who can help me with it. AI.
99% of people are going to say, I don't know how to do these things, I can't do anything. I'm sitting there with a smile because I legitimately have a process for this. I actively seek out what I don't know, and then I create with it on top of AI. That is an absolute superpower.
Right now, I'm telling every one of my clients the same thing: learn Claude Code. Remove the thought that you don't have a tech background or you're not a coder. We are in an era where if you can speak or type, you can build anything you want. It will fundamentally shift how you think about building infrastructure in your business toward agentic AI, which is the absolute superpower.
Experience and Reps
The AI era is completely unromantic about who you are, what you do for your business, how much money is in your bank account, or what you did or didn't know. It says: show me your receipts. How are you putting in the work? How are you spending time in AI?
Learning AI requires reps. No different than learning how to play guitar or ride a bike. The only way to get better is to actually do it. Most people do not want to put in the work. For me, that puts a big smile on my face, because I do the work every single day. And anytime I'm advising a client or a company and they ask what are our keys to success, I keep it simple: experience, get in the reps.
Relentless Action
Pace matters. There are people who see the opportunity with AI and don't want to do the work, so they do nothing. Then there are those of us who are all in, doing the work of ten people.
We see the opportunity of things that have never been available or possible ever in the history of the world, and we can be the ones who create them. That relentless pace is what it looks like to be an undeniable leader. When you see the rest of the world with slow or no pace, and you're operating with relentless action, that is how we win.
I want you to be in a hurry to create your next level. We are relentlessly on offense. This is the biggest opportunity in our lives. Let's go faster, bigger, better.
Time as a Tool
Time is a tool, not a constraint, and it is the number one thing holding people back from winning in the AI era.
I hear it constantly. "I like this idea, Rob, but let's check back in Q4." And I look at them like they've got ten eyes. This is a non-negotiable. If you let time be the reason you're not in the game, you will not win.
Ed Mylett said it well: time is a multiplier or a punisher. The more time you spend in AI, the greater your ceiling. The more time you do nothing with AI, the more you stay where you're at. And there's an invisible tax that people don't realize, because standing still isn't actually standing still. The world is moving.
My encouragement for you if you have a scarcity mindset around time: please throw that in the trash. If this is the greatest opportunity in the history of the world to create anything that you want, then I don't care what you did for the rest of your life before this. Right now is the opportunity to say, this is the new game, I'm all in, I am going to create the time.
Here's something simple I want you to do. Write down how many minutes a day you are using AI. That is the most honest feedback you will ever get. If you're stacking zeros, there's your honest feedback. If you're getting 10, 15 minutes here and there, cool, you're in the game, but you're playing small. What you inspect, you expect.
For me, every single day from 9am to 11am, my calendar is blocked for creating. Every Friday is completely blocked. No client calls, no meetings, nothing on my schedule. Two hours every day and all day Friday just to create. That's my baseline, and I even looked at myself and thought, there's probably someone on Twitter right now using AI twelve plus hours a day. That person is going to crush me. And that's even with me already being all in. Few people will ever do this, but we are not most people.
Contribution
I feel a responsibility and an obligation to share what I'm learning with you. Because there are people talking tech and tools and coding and tutorials, but how many are coming from a human-first, heart-first perspective where we want to grow our businesses and our lives and rise together?
When one of us wins, we all win. I legitimately believe this is the greatest opportunity for us to create positive impact in the world, ever. Make sure that contribution is part of your creating, because we need leaders who lead by example.
My challenge for you this week: track your AI minutes. How many did you create? Write it down manually on a piece of paper, use an app on your phone, whatever works. I use an app called Tally, and I'm currently building out an automation to have my MacBook send me my app usage every single day so I can track this. What you inspect, you expect. And if this is the most important time in the history of the world, then I want to inspect how much time I'm spending creating with AI.
What Does the Building Pillar Look Like in Practice?
Building is about leverage, systems, and infrastructure. The leaders who win in the AI era build systems that scale and create infrastructure that compounds, and 99.9% of people will never touch this level.
This can actually be simple and intentional by design. It doesn't have to be hard.
Structure and Organization
This is the most underrated skill you can have right now, and it is absolutely foundational. It is literally the infrastructure of everything you're building, and it is the least sexy thing you're rarely going to hear from anybody because most people aren't doing the work.
Simply put: write everything down. When you write everything down, it goes from your head and lives somewhere. When it lives somewhere, you have accountability, visibility, and action items. And more importantly, it gives you the opportunity to allow agentic AI to read and understand everything going on in your world. If people can't find your information and it's not accessible, guess who else can't find it? AI agents.
My action item for you: clean up your digital garden. So many people have information scattered across Google Workspace, Evernote, Notion, notes on their phone, and maybe most of it isn't written down at all. Disparate information all over the place. People can't find it, it's not easily accessible.
The superpower is when you write it down in a way that's organized and structured, you've built a scalable infrastructure that can literally build a rocket ship to the moon. Simple scales. Structure scales.
I've got a background in PKM, personal knowledge management. I learned a course called Building a Second Brain all around your ability to organize your digital life. It is an absolute superpower. My advisement for you: start documenting everything you do inside of Notion. I'm not romantic about the tools, but I know Notion connects to everything. That's where I'm building my AI infrastructure. The undeniable leaders who win in the AI era will have better structure and organization than everybody else.
Systems Thinking
Systems scale. If you're doing something more than once, turn it into a system.
One of the biggest gifts I can give you is systems thinking. Document what you do, write it down, turn it into a standard operating procedure. Then ask Claude or ChatGPT to help you build it in a way that has agentic structure so a future AI agent could read it and execute it.
If you turn everything into an SOP, you've created a completely scalable business and infrastructure. Do you think that would be valuable when agentic AI is at the push of a button? That's why there's going to be such a gap between undeniable leaders and everybody else. This is probably the number one thing that is going to hold 99% of people and organizations back. They do not have a system for how they do anything. Prompting, structure, organization, meetings, everything.
I'll share a moment that changed my life. Andy Frisella and Ed Mylett, through the Arete Syndicate, drilled "systems scale" into my head for seven years. I've been a founding member there since the beginning. And I sat there thinking, I hear you, I believe you, I want this, and I've never built a system before in my life.
You know what the path was to creating my first system? Creating my first system. That's it. So throw in the trash that somehow you don't have this skill. If you want to create a system, who is the best person or thing in the world to help you? AI. All I need you to have is the mindset that everything you do can be turned into a system.
Do you have a system for how you are learning and staying on top of AI? For me, of course I do. I have an AI Twitter list that I check every single day with the top companies, influencers, and thought leaders in the world of AI. AI Twitter is the number one hub to learn about real-time innovation in AI. The more you see, the more you can see. The more you don't know, the more you can bookmark it, send it to AI, and then implement it.
Weakness as Opportunity
Your weaknesses are your biggest opportunities in the AI era. What stands in the way becomes the way.
This is contrarian to what most people think, but weakness is something to run toward. Every bottleneck, every friction point, every thing you don't like doing in your business is an opportunity to create a better solution.
Here's my encouragement for you: write down the top five bottlenecks in your business right now. I like to call them friction traps. What are those things you do not like doing? Take those, go into Claude, and say: here are five friction traps in my business, bottlenecks I do not like. How can you help me with them? And start creating.
When everybody else is chasing tools and tech, you are focused on the foundational layer that makes everything 10x more effective. Your willingness to identify your weaknesses is your path to winning in the AI era. That becomes your massive advantage.
Where Do You Start This Week?
Pick one pillar. Focus on it. Take one action.
If it's Being, raise your standard in one area and do the inner work.
If it's Creating, track your AI minutes for the week. Write it down. Be honest with yourself.
If it's Building, document one process you do repeatedly and turn it into an SOP.
The bigger the dreams, the deeper the foundation. These three pillars are your foundation. When you come from this level, this standard, this mindset, you stay on offense, you improve constantly, and you lead with heart.
I just gave you a blueprint for how to win in the AI era. Your signal recognition starts right now. What are you going to take from this and implement in your own business? Because once again, the bigger the dreams, the deeper the foundation. These three pillars are that foundation.
That's the undeniable way.
