- Greg Isenberg mapped how every piece of the old computer is being reborn in the AI era. This takes his twelve pieces and shows you what each one looks like running in a real business.
- AI models are the new engine, and a connected home for them (goals, tools, rules) is what turns raw horsepower into real leverage.
- Your experience, voice, and judgment are the one thing nobody can copy. That is the real moat.
- The limit on all of it is trust, not tech. Close the gap between what your agents could do and what you let them run, and everything opens up.
Greg Isenberg posted a list of how every piece of the old computer is being reborn in the AI era. It was sharp, so I took his twelve pieces, put them in plain language, and showed you what each one actually looks like running in a real business. He gave the map, and I'm handing you the receipts. This is from my world, and then you can build it in yours too.
AI is your new engine.
The thinking power behind your work is no longer just you and your team. It's you plus a set of AI models, each strong at a different job.
How this looks for me: I run four of them on purpose, and I gave each one a role.
The Architect handles my hardest strategic thinking. The Senior Builder does the heavy construction. The Daily Driver runs everyday work. The Volume Runner handles the fast, high-volume stuff.
You match the right brain to the right job instead of forcing one to do everything.
You need a home for it all.
AI on its own is raw horsepower. The magic comes from giving it a home. A place that holds your goals, your tools, and your rules so it always knows what to work on.
How this looks for me: I call mine King Rob's World.
It's my whole business in one connected system. My second brain in Notion, my projects, my agents, and a dashboard I call the Kingdom Map that shows me the entire operation at a glance.
The AI is the engine. King Rob's World is the garage, the map, and the keys all in one.
Wrong answers are the thing to watch for.
Sometimes AI says something with total confidence that's just wrong. Once you know that, you stop being surprised by it and start building simple checks that catch it before it matters.
How this looks for me: I built rules right into the system.
My Write Verification Rule means nothing gets saved to my records until it's double-checked against the truth. My Artifact Verification Rule means nothing counts as "built" until the system proves it actually exists.
A confident wrong answer never reaches a client. It gets caught first.
What you feed it decides what you get.
AI can only work with what you give it in the moment. Give it your real story, your voice, and your goals, and it gives you gold. Give it nothing and it gives you generic.
How this looks for me: I keep living files I call my Soul Data and my Voice DNA.
Before I create anything, the AI already holds who I am and exactly how I talk.
That's the whole reason my content sounds like me and most people's sounds like a robot. Same tool. Better inputs.
You build your own tools now.
You used to buy software for every little job. Now you build your own, once, and use them forever. Custom to your exact business.
How this looks for me: I have more than twenty of them, and I named each one.
gold-mine pulls the best ideas out of any recording. war-room turns a coaching call into a gift I hand the client. the-daily-content-engine turns a single idea into a full week of content.
I'm not starting from a blank screen every day. I'm pressing go on tools I built for me.
You set it up by writing, not coding.
You don't need a developer to change how your system runs. You write it down in plain words, and that becomes the instructions.
How this looks for me: Every tool I own is a simple text file I can read and edit myself.
Want to change how gold-mine works, or how my morning briefing gets written? I open the file and change the words.
No code. No waiting on anyone.
You test before you trust.
Before you let AI run something important, you try it out and make sure it works. Same as you'd never let a new hire run point on day one.
How this looks for me: Every new AI helper runs a 7-day On-Ramp before it gets a real job.
It has to earn its way through a set of checks I call my Five-Layer Trust Stack.
It doesn't get the job because I hope it works. It graduates.
Your experience is the thing nobody can copy.
Everyone has the same AI now. For a few dollars a month, anyone does. So the tools stop being the advantage. What can't be copied is you. Your years, your voice, your judgment, your hard-won knowledge.
This is the big one. For me it's 1,000+ days of daily practice, 500+ podcast episodes, and a mentor intelligence layer I built from everything I've learned from Dan Martell and Jesse Itzler.
Anyone can buy the AI I use.
Nobody can buy the fifteen years that taught it to think like me. That's the real moat, and you have your own version of it.
You stay in control of what it can touch.
You decide what your AI is allowed to do on its own and what has to come back to you first. You hold the keys. Always.
How this looks for me: Some jobs my agents run completely by themselves. Some stay mine to approve.
And I have a rule. If any problem keeps reopening, it automatically escalates back to my desk.
I'm always the one in charge of what runs without me.
The real limit isn't the tech. It's trust.
Here's the one almost everyone misses. The technology can already do far more than most of us let it. What holds it back isn't the AI. It's how much we trust it to run without us watching.
How this looks for me: I named trust as my actual bottleneck before I heard anyone else say it.
My whole Trust Stack exists to close the gap between what my agents could do and what I actually let them do while I'm not looking.
Build the trust and everything opens up.
Talking to it clearly is the new superpower.
You don't need a technical background anymore. You need to get clear about what you want and say it in plain English. That clarity is the skill.
How this looks for me: This is exactly what I coach. I call it Outcome Based Prompting, and it lives inside The Unlimited Method.
I teach founders to get what they want out of AI by learning to ask for it well.
No computer science degree. Just clarity.
The goal is helpers that run without you.
The end game isn't a tool you pick up when you remember to. It's a team of AI helpers that show up on their own, on a schedule, and do the work whether you're there or not.
How this looks for me: I wake up to a CEO Morning Briefing that's already written.
My Content Creation Engine and Blog Auto-Publisher make and ship content on a schedule. My Watchdog checks the systems overnight while I sleep. My Librarian keeps everything organized. My Speaking Scout hunts for stage opportunities.
I don't operate the software. I build agents that run 92 percent of my business, so I get to spend my time on the 8 percent only I can do. Create and coach.
Why I'm Sharing This
I didn't figure this out by reading about it. I figured it out by living in it for three years, making every mistake, and slowly building a business that now runs itself in ways I couldn't have imagined.
The gap between where most people are and where this is going is enormous right now. And it's the best kind of gap, because anyone willing to start can close it.
That's why I'm handing you the whole map. Not the polished theory. The real thing, with the real names, running in a real business, so you know it's possible for you too.
Your Move
You don't build all twelve at once. Nobody did. You pick one and you make it real this week.
Here's the order I'd start in.
First, feed it who you are. Open a document. Write down who you are, what your business does, and how you talk. Paste that in before your next AI task and watch the answer change. This is your Soul Data, and it's the fastest win there is. It costs you twenty minutes.
Then, build one tool. Pick the task you do over and over that drains you the most. Write out how you do it, step by step, and save it. Now you have your own gold-mine. A tool for your exact business that works the same way every time.
Then, earn one bit of trust. Take one small job you'd normally double-check. Let your AI run it, watch it for a week, and see if it earns the right to run without you. That's your first real agent.
Who you are, then a tool, then trust. That's your on-ramp. Do those three and you've felt the entire shift in your own hands.
The people who win this era aren't the ones who understand it best. They're the ones who start. One real move this week beats a perfect plan you never begin.
Go build something.
